A child suffered a broken leg after being hit by an EVSC school bus Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at the Grandin Pointe Mobile Home Park on St. Joe Avenue.
The bus had been turning around in a parking lot when the child was hit.
The bus driver stayed on the scene and was cooperative.
Because the crash involved serious bodily injury, the driver submitted to a chemical test as required by law.
The child was awake and was taken to the hospital.
