One man’s dream turned into reality on Wednesday afternoon.
City officials cut the ribbon on the Pickle Plex at Ben State Hawes Park in Owensboro.
Pickleballer Guy Durham says he brought the idea to the parks and recreation department six years ago.
The outdoor complex features 18 courts for players of all ages and skill levels.
The pickle plex is hosting its first pickleball tournament tomorrow.
The event is expected to bring players from all around the Tri-State.
