The YWCA of Evansville is kicking off its annual “Week Without Violence” campaign.
October is “National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.”
This initiative is part of a worldwide campaign dedicated to raising awareness and finding solutions to eliminate domestic violence.
YWCA of Evansville CEO Anne McKim says conversations surrounding domestic violence often only surface after high-profile, tragic incidents, but says, the issue requires ongoing attention.
