An Owensboro teen is in jail after a shooting that took place around midnight on Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to a reported firearm discharge in the 600 block of Dalton Street.
While officers were responding, dispatch received a second call from the victim, who reported she had been shot and was on her way to the hospital.
Kalie Evans allegedly fired a weapon into a vehicle occupied by four people following an argument, hitting a 19-year-old female.
Evans turned herself in to Owensboro Police and was arrested.
She is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.
