The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office announced the addition of its newest single-purpose narcotics detection canine.
K9 Kora is an 18-month-old female Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix.
She is certified to detect the odors of Fentanyl, Heroin, Meth, Cocaine, and Marijuana.
K9 Kora is partnered with Deputy Jeff Fentress.
Her specialized training will provide investigators with an additional resource for locating illegal narcotics and disrupting the distribution of dangerous drugs throughout our community.
