Police have arrested a man they believe started a fire in an abandoned building.
Richard Lee Perkins Jr. is facing multiple charges stemming from the fire, including Arson and two counts of Criminal Recklessness.
He is also facing additional charges related to a separate incident.
EFD was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Fourth Avenue on July 20.
Investigators determined that two people were inside the building when the fire began.
Both were able to escape, and no injuries were reported.
Perkins is currently being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $6,500 bond.
