An Evansville man is facing charges after being accused of attacking a woman with a pair of scissors and threatening to kill her.
An anonymous caller reported hearing a man shouting in the front yard and a woman screaming that she had been cut with scissors and was being held against her will.
When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene.
The victim told police that Jeremy Wood had snapped during an argument and lunged at her with scissors, lacerating her finger.
Wood is facing charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon and battery.
