OCU Officials Say Employees Will Receive A Check On Friday

It’s been nearly three months since the staff at Oakland City University was last paid.

OCU President, Doctor Ron Dempsey, says the May 8 payroll will be paid this Friday.

There’s still no word on when the next three missed checks will be paid out to more than 100 former employees.

Earlier this month, Dempsey said the money was available for the first check, but they were working with A-D-P to set up their account.

Undergrad programs at O-C-U are suspended, but summer grad programs have continued.
