An Indiana State Trooper is injured after being struck along Highway 41 in Knox County.
It happened Tuesday evening near Decker.
Master Trooper Brett Pool was in his fully marked Indiana State Police Commissioned vehicle when he was hit by Anna Elkins of Vincennes.
At the time of the crash, Trooper Pool was standing outside of his patrol vehicle.
He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no criminal charges have been filed.
Elkins was cited for Unsafe Lane Movement.
