Indiana State Police are investigating an accident that killed a Spencer County woman.
It happened Monday night on S.R. 162 just west of St. Meinrad.
Investigators say 37-year-old Amber Gogel was driving her SUV when she crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on.
The other driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
