A high school cheerleader was accused of violating her school’s dress code after she wore her cheer uniform to class on game day. She was told to ‘cover up’ by wearing pants because of the cheer skirt. According to WNEM, the student’s mother says the issue is if the uniform is good enough to wear during sporting events, it should be good enough to wear at school.
“If they can wear their uniforms that are issued by the school to games, and it's appropriate, it should be appropriate for school also." https://t.co/9reMjczCjt

The mother even claimed the cheer coach told the team to wear their uniforms the day of the game. No comment was made by the school’s superintendent.
