Earlier this week, a plane from Alaskan Airlines had its door plug come undone while in midair. A terrifying experience for everyone on that plane. With the loss of cabin pressure, multiple items were sucked out of the plane and into the atmosphere at 16,000 feet. One item was found in perfect condition, and not only that, it was one of TWO phones found from that same flight.
Found an iPhone on the side of the road… Still in airplane mode with half a battery and open to a baggage claim for #AlaskaAirlines ASA1282 Survived a 16,000 foot drop perfectly in tact!
When I called it in, Zoe at @NTSB said it was the SECOND phone to be found. No door yet😅 pic.twitter.com/CObMikpuFd

Don’t even try to figure out the odds of that happening, but it’s honestly a miracle that no one got hurt from that flight. The door plug to the plane was also found in Portland, Oregon.
