A man from Hawesville, Kentucky, is facing several charges after a lengthy police chase in Ohio County.
Hancock County Dispatch said a Silver Ford F-150 had rammed a Hancock County deputy cruiser, and the driver of that truck, Cody Wedding, had his ex-wife and child held hostage in the vehicle.
While attempting to avoid the spike strips, the vehicle rammed another car carrying one person and then continued to run.
The truck then left the roadway and became stuck in a ditch, where he was taken into custody.
His charges include DUI, Wanton Endangerment, reckless driving, and kidnapping.
