Employees at Oakland City University still haven’t been paid.
They were due a paycheck last Friday, but the money has not yet appeared in their bank accounts.
Employees were told they hoped to get their money by noon on Monday.
An email sent to staff members then said the direct deposits would drop on Tuesday morning.
Last month, OCU employees received a WARN notice about a potential mass layoff.
While there are no plans to close, the notice was sent on the advice of their legal counsel.
OCU officials hope to have the payroll issue resolved by today.
A formal announcement for the next steps will be made on Monday, May 18th.
