The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce is proud to present a summer edition of Shop Owensboro, powered by Independence Bank, on Saturday, July 26.
Shop Owensboro: Summer Edition on Saturday, July 26, presented by the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and powered by Independence Bank, will encourage the community and surrounding region to support our local businesses in Owensboro throughout the day.
Shop Owensboro Summer Edition was started in July 2020 in the height of the pandemic shutdowns. The genesis arose from a need to remind our community that it is imperative to support locally owned merchants, restaurants, and small business. Each year since we have realized how important it is to continue this July event.
“We’re always excited to encourage Owensboro to shop local during the month of July,” says Kitty Jones, Director of Membership at the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. “Supporting local businesses is one of the most impactful ways we can invest in our community’s growth. They truly are the heartbeat of Owensboro.”
