The family of Miya Rudd held a candlelight vigil ceremony in her honor last night.
The service was held at the Pleasant Valley Community Church in Owensboro.
The eight-month-old was found dead last month in her parent’s Ohio County home.
Her cousin Aubrey says, “It saddens me to know that I’ll never get to know the type of person she’ll grow up to be”.
Miya earned the nickname “Smiley” and will be remembered for her infectious joy.
Her parents and several other family members are behind bars after their involvement with her disappearance and untimely death.
