According to those experiencing symptoms, the drug is now making their taste buds change. They say sweet foods are now way too sweet to enjoy. According to researchers, it’s a result of the active ingredient, semaglutide, which can change taste receptors on the tongue. There are many Ozempic users that complain about being unable to fully enjoy treats like donuts or chocolate, and this may be the reason why.
