To assure the safety of its staff Deaconess Health System has partnered with 911 Cellular to implement a new, custom-designed app for smartphones and mobile devices.
Deaconess Guardian, as it’s called, will provide the ability to rapidly contact first responders of any security concerns to police and activate a ‘duress button”.
This will remotely trigger a system-wide lockdown in the case of an emergency.
Deaconess says their top priority is keeping patients and employees safe.
