This July, Tri-State Food Bank will hold their second annual BackPack Hero Campaign, presented by HOT96.

The BackPack Hero Campaign is a virtual 14-day fundraising challenge to individuals, companies, and organizations that takes place July 6 – July 19, 2024.

The HOT96 Morning Show will go live on-air to challenge their listeners to join in the fight against Tri-State hunger by texting HERO to 82474 to make a donation to Tri-State Food Bank.

Our goal is to raise $24,000 for Tri-State Food Bank’s Weekend BackPack Food for Kids Program, which will help provide approximately 60,000 bags of food during the 2024-25 school year to over 3,000 Tri-State children facing hunger! The food will be sufficient to provide the child’s complete food needs for the weekend with 6 nutritious meals, milk, juice, fruit items and snacks.
