A Providence, Kentucky teen was murdered Friday and his alleged killer was arrested the same day.
19 year old Lonnell Holloway was found shot to death on the 1700 block of Barnhill Road.
Deputies and the Hopkins County Coroner noticed discrepancies in the reports of witnesses on the scene and contacted detectives to investigate Holloway’s death.
It was during the investigation it was determined that 20 year old Christopher Rideout was responsible for the murder.
Rideout is lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
His bond is set at $500,000.
