I can’t stand having a hair in my mouth, and I can’t imagine what this feels like. A woman from Italy just discovered she has a very rare condition that makes her grow hair in her mouth.

When the woman was 19 she discovered she had hair growing inside her mouth. The doctors at the time believed it was only a hormone disorder and gave her contraceptives to balance them out. The doctors surgically removed the hairs and thought that was the end of that. When she was 25 she found more eyelash-resembling hairs were growing from her mouth again. Not only that, the poor woman was also sprouting hairs on her chin and neck. Turns out there have only been five other recorded instances of this same thing happening.
