Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Covert Avenue around 11:50 Saturday night to Beauty Plus.
Officers arrived and found the inside of the business to be ransacked and several displays were destroyed with shelves knocked on the floor.
Security footage captured a female smash in the glass door with a hammer.
The suspect was wearing gloves, a mask and a hoodie.
The female was in the store for six minutes and was able to stuff $5,000 worth of merchandise into a garbage bag.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
