Bids are being accepted for the relocation of the LST 325.
The historic warship will be moving from Marina Pointe to the downtown riverfront. It will be a three-phase project that includes dredging the river and building a visitors center, across from Tropicana.
Specifications for the project were altered after the first round of bids came back over budget.
City leaders say moving the LST will give the ship more visibility and ease of access.
This summer, the LST will temporarily move to the downtown riverfront for four days, as part of a celebration for the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
