The Evansville Promise Zone has announced a new partnership with TruVest.
The collaboration will transform 25 properties in the city this year. The first house on Oregon Street is already finished.
TruVest is working with local realtors, the Evansville Land Bank and the Promise Zone to locate homes suitable for rehab.
Evansville residents with credit scores of 600 or more will be eligible for mortgages through Old National Bank. TruVest will provide financing for those who do not qualify for a conventional mortgage.
