The man accused of arson in the Diamond Avenue Flea Market fire was sentenced Friday.
The trial for 25-year-old Christopher Liggett was set to start today, but a plea deal was reached instead.
Liggett has been sentenced to a total of nine years.
Eight of those years are for the one arson and 31 misdemeanor charges.
He has an additional year for the meth possession.
Officials say he’ll have four years in prison, two years on work release and two years in a rehab program.
