An Evansville man is accused of raping a woman he was suppose to take home from a bar.
The victim told police he stopped in an alley, and that’s where he assaulted her.
He made her say it was was consensual while recording the act and threatened to hurt her family if she didn’t.
Officials say once he stopped, he took her home.
She then, went to the hospital.
The victim told police she remembered seeing a Dick’s Sporting Goods name tag in the vehicle.
That’s how she knew his name was Austin.
Authorities identified the suspect as 27 year old Cody Austin Layson after contacting his job.
He is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
His bond is set at $25,000.
