Warner Bros. Unveiled the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 yesterday, showcasing the return of Gadot’s swordweilding, ass-kidding Diana Prince. In addition to the official trailer, the film’s latest posters were released, which show Gadot in a new golden suit. They also introduce Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord.

The Disney sequel won its third straight weekend at the box office. It has now made $919 million globally, propelling Disney past a record $10 billion in overall ticket sales this year.
Caroll Spinney
Spinney, better known as Sesame Street’s Big Bird, died yesterday at 85 years old. He was also the voice and puppeteer for Oscar the Grouch.

The 21-year old rising rapper died early Sunday morning after suffering a seizure at a Chicago airport. Witnesses say he suffered the medical emergency while walking through the airport shortly after arriving on a private jet. Since his death, dozens of stars including Drake, Camila Cabello and Ellie Goulding have taken to social media to pay their respects.

The World Anti-Doping Agency has banned Russia from international sports for four years. The ban means they will miss Tokyo Olympics and the World Cup in Qatar.
Miss Universe
Steve Harvey took the stage to announce the winner of the National Costume Show last night. He introduced the winner as Miss Philippines, but Miss Malaysia was the one standing next to him and she corrected him. Harvey said the problem was with the teleprompter. People quickly compared the flub to 2015, when he named Miss Columbia as the winner instead of Miss Philippines.
