The University of Evansville held a dedication ceremony for the newly-renovated Hyde Hall on Thursday.
It’s located in the heart of campus and contains Shanklin Theatre, home of UE’s nationally recognized theatre program.
The building has laboratories for disciplines such as sound and lighting processes and more, along with a video production lab with green screens and editing booths.
Hyde Hall is also filled with faculty offices, classrooms and core learning spaces.
Construction began in May of 2018. Upgrades include interactive learning centers and an advanced energy-efficient heating and cooling system.
The building will be open for summer classes.
