It’s now less than a week before he start of the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival… but the continuing pandemic has left its mark.
Six of the original food booths for this year opted out a couple of weeks ago, and now, festival chairman Mike Hahn says that number has risen to 27.
But don’t look for any gaps on West Franklin Street.
Hahn says they’ve been successful in replacing those booths who won’t be participating.
Festival organizers say the replacement booths are one-time participants. Those who opted out over COVID concerns will have their regular spots in the 2022 Fall Festival.
The 100th Fall Festival begins Monday.
