Ashton Kutcher
Ashton Kutcher was a witness in a murder trial yesterday and the victim was, Ashley Ellerin, a woman he was dating at the time of her death in 2001. As for how Kutcher fits in, on the night of the murder, he went to her house to pick her up for a date. When she didn’t answer the door, he looked through the window and spotted what he thought was spilled red wine on the floor (it was actually blood). He tried to open the door but it was locked so he left. Her body was discovered the next day. Yesterday, Kutcher, who was on the stand for about 40-minutes, said he’d assumed Ellerin had simply “bailed” on him but the next day, when he learned of the murder, he reached out to police…because he was worried about fingerprints on the door. The man on trial for her murder is also accused of killing two other women, and attempting to murder a fourth. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
Alex Trebek
Just three months after being
diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer
, doctors have told Alex Trebek that he’s in “near remission.” According to Alex, “Some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50-percent” and upon finding out, he cried tears of joy. According to the
American Cancer Society
, the survival rate for pancreatic cancer is nine-percent, with just three-percent of patients surviving stage 4 pancreatic cancer for five years. So it’s no wonder Trebek’s doctors have said they’ve never seen this kind of positive result before.
Kit Harrington
As we learned yesterday, Kit Harrington recently checked into a rehab facility to help deal with stress and alcohol abuse. According to new reports, the reason he checked himself into the treatment center was his wife, Rose Leslie. Sources say “Kit went to treatment for Rose. He was living a very unhealthy lifestyle. He was stressed all the time and using unhealthy coping tools. It really bothered Rose.” The insider adds that she has been incredibly supportive of Kit and had been telling him to get into treatment for a little while now, and he finally obliged.
