Officials at SWIRCA say they’ve made or taken over three thousand phone calls in the past week, helping seniors to prepare for the coronavirus vaccination. Hoosiers 70 and over are now eligible to get the vaccine. But that leads to some challenges.

According to the Indiana State Department of Health, more than 66,000 Hoosiers 70 years and older have signed up to get a COVID vaccine so far. SWIRCA needs volunteers with computers skills to help with the phones. If you’re interested, call 812-464-7800.
