The investigation is continuing into an overnight shooting in Evansville. This comes after the apparent victim showed up at the hospital.
Evansville police say gunfire was reported in the 2400 block of Ravenswood Drive around 3:30 a.m.
Police were told a house had been shot and a window was broken. EPD says officers found blood and shell casings in the street.
Police say they had been notified of a gunshot victim that arrived at an area hospital with a wound to his hand. Because officers tracked blood droplets to the Ravenswood Drive home, police cleared the house in search of other possible victims. Police say they did not find other victims but found more blood.
The shooting victim is expected to survive his injuries.
