7th Annual event is Evansville’s Longest Street Sale
The event, billed as Evansville’s longest street sale, will feature more than 150+ local makers, vendors, Downtown businesses, and residents selling items on Main Street (from 1st Street to 6th Street). Activities will include a floral backdrop for photo memories and the distribution of 500 free carnation flowers to mothers and mother figures in attendance. The photo backdrop and the carnation distribution will take place in front of the Innovation Pointe building at 318 Main Street. Carnation quantities will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Local musicians will perform along Main Street.
“This year’s event marks our largest ever, with the expansion of an extra block to accommodate 150+ vendors. Come celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend with us by supporting our local businesses, entrepreneurs, and specialty vendors while creating memorable experiences in our neighborhood,” said Adam Trinkel, executive director, EID.
Downtown stores and restaurants will be open and offering special deals. Food trucks 3 Chicks Fudgery, Bruce Li, and Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice will serve guests food. Downtown restaurants will also be open for customers. Public restrooms will be accessible for guests at the corner of Fourth and Main.
Support for this event comes from Heritage Federal Credit Union, Astound Broadband, Kitchens and Bath by Sho-Pro of Indiana, United Fidelity Bank, and media partner Townsquare Media.
