Schools everywhere have a code of conduct when it comes to the dress code, but according to this woman, a school is refusing to teach her daughter and niece until they remove their nose rings. Tink, otherwise known as @cherries_87 on TikTok, is alleging that the school is denying the two girls any chance of an education until they take their nose studs out. Her video below now has over 2 million views and counting.
@cherries_87 too far. 😔💔 #THINKTINK #mumsoftiktoks
The article on the New York Post says even though the girls put in clear studs to avoid trouble, the teacher saw them anyway and sent them into “isolation”. Tink says any time she goes to approach the teacher to have a conversation, she avoids her and stays inside her office. The school does have a rule against face piercings, but Tink has allowed her child to express herself in her own way. Comments on her video are back and forth, with some agreeing with the school, while others are on the side of the mother. What do you think?
