A ceremony for a new futsal court takes place this morning at 10:00 on the site of the old tennis court at Stockwell Park.
Mayor Winnecke and Interim Parks Director Steve Schaefer will be on hand to break ground.
Representatives from the Welborn Baptist Foundation, Indiana Soccer, Parks and Recreation Department, and the Latino Soccer League will also attend.
Futsal is a game similar to soccer but played on a hardcourt surface.
The project is expected to be completed by early next year.
