Posey County Deputies are investigating a deadly crash where a car was found in a ditch Monday morning at State Road 66 and Bluegrass Road.
A female passenger, later identified as 38-year-old Jodi Beth Wheeler of Chandler, was trapped in the car and died on the scene.
The driver, 35-year-old Dustin Broad of Spotsville, KY, was taken to the hospital and then to jail.
He had a suspended driver’s license as well as several active arrest warrants from Vanderburgh and Warrick County.
Broad faces multiple charges including OWI causing death, OWI prior conviction, and operating while his license is suspended.
