Willard Public Library and the Friends of Willard Library are excited to announce its Annual Book Sale fundraiser, which will be held on June 3, 2023. This moneymaker event is a community-wide effort to support the library’s mission to provide free access to books, resources and programs for everyone.
The Annual Book Sale will take place in the Browning Gallery and Lankford Archives Reading Room in the lower level of Willard Public Library, located at 21 First Avenue Evansville, IN from 9AM to 1PM. The large-scale book sale will feature a vast selection of gently used hardback and paperback books, including fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books. The books will be available for purchase at an affordable price, with all proceeds benefitting the library.
The Annual Book Sale is one of Willard Public Library’s most significant fundraising events, with proceeds helping to fund the library’s critical programs and services, including literacy initiatives, technology access, and community outreach. The event also provides an opportunity for community members to come together and support the library while discovering new books to enjoy.
Willard Public Library accepts book donations year-round for this sale. Community members are encouraged to bring gently used books to WPL during business hours.
