The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation plans to close Harwood Career Preparatory High School at the end of the school year.
Some of the parents of students attending the school are not happy with the decision.
EVSC’s Jason Woebkenberg says the data of schools in the system often at Harwood didn’t meet their expectations.
Each of the five high schools will have a Harwood Center next year.
This will allow students to return to their home school and be with their friends.
