A Gibson Circuit court judge has been suspended for seven days without pay.
The decision was handed down by The Indiana Supreme Court.
Documents claim he spoke rudely to a father during a paternity case.
Telling the father to “be quiet,” “zip it”, and to shut his mouth.
Judge Jeffrey Meade also referred to the father as bud, buddy, bro and man.
The magistrate was said to hold unrecorded hearings in his chamber where some people were not included, who should of been.
Judge Meade has accepted responsibility for his actions.
His suspension starts January 30.
