Officials with the United States Department of Agriculture will be in Spurgeon, Indiana to break ground on a new infrastructure project to celebrate Earth Day.
The wastewater treatment plant will connect 100 customers to a centralized sewer collection system.
$4.4 million in funding from the USDA will help the town with that project.
Dr. Terry Goodin will join Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch, U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon Friday at 10 am in Jordan Memorial Park for the ceremony.
