A Mt. Vernon woman is in jail and her alleged victim is the hospital.
Officials say 35 year old Tabatha Ord stabbed someone several times then took the victim’s car.
A tracking device led police to the stolen vehicle.
Police say Ord is in the Posey County Jail charged with auto theft, battery causing moderate bodily injury and driving while intoxicated.
The victim is in stable condition.
