The Kentucky Red Cross released this statement on their Facebook page this morning;
Our thoughts are with everyone whose lives have been impacted greatly by the horrific and deadly tornadoes that touched down overnight across Kentucky. The Red Cross and our partners are working around the clock to help those in need and make sure everyone has a safe place to stay, food to eat, critical relief supplies, emotional support and comfort. Footage below from WDRB News shows the impact in Mayfield, Kentucky.
If you need a safe place to stay, you can find a list of open shelters at redcross.org/shelter.
