Campbell’s Soup just changed the label on its tomato soup cans for the first time in 50 YEARS. It’s not a huge overhaul though, so don’t panic.
They just messed with the font, moved the word “Condensed” from the middle to the top, and added a photo of an actual tomato at the bottom.
It’s the first time they’ve changed the design since 1951, but they HAVE changed it before. Their original can in 1885 was white. Then they had a blue-and-orange can in 1897. And their first half-red, half-white can was in 1898.
