Hoosier drivers my have noticed gas prices creeping upward even before word of the Colonial Pipeline hacking.
That’s because the pipeline doesn’t serve Indiana; it provides about 45 percent of fuel for the East Coast, but bypasses the Hoosier State.
A Triple-A spokesman says Indiana won’t feel the pinch from the pipeline unless it remains closed for more than a week.
Hoosier price hikes come from work-at-home employees who are now returning to their companies and driving more which pushes prices up.
