Bridge inspectors say there is no structural damage to the northbound twin bridge after it was brushed by a barge yesterday (Monday).
Traffic was reduced to one lane as a precaution until any possible damage was evaluated..
The incident happened at approximately 5:00 p.m.
The U-S Coast Guard says a commercial barge made contact with a pier.
All lanes are open this morning.
The northbound bridge is the older of the two structures.
It was opened to traffic in 1932.
