Adam Levine
Adam Levine enjoys changing his hair up from time to time, but his latest look is a bit of a shocker to fans. In new photos taken yesterday, Levine can be seen driving around Los Angeles with basically a shaved head, with the exception of cornrows that stretch from the center of his forehead to the back of his neck, ending with a rat tail. Adam has since taken to his Instagram stories, referring to it as a “corn hawk.”
The Joker
Joaquin Phoenix’s “The Joker” isn’t even in theaters yet and it’s already causing controversy. A lot of people and media outlets, including the families of the 2012 Aurora mass shooting victims, have penned letters expressing concern that it could inspire more violence. Many believe that the violence in the film “glorifies” the troubled Joker character. Warner Bros, Phoenix and director Todd Phillipshave each responded to the controversy, and all agree that while gun violence is a “critical issue” in society, the movie isn’t “an endorsement of real-world violence.”
Emmy Awards
This year’s Emmy Awards was a big night for “Fleabag” star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The British actress, writer, and producer took home three trophies, but her moment is far from over. Now, she’s signed a big three-year deal with Amazon Studios. Few details about the deal have been released but sources say it’s one of the biggest deals for a female writer-producer on Amazon, ever.
Lindsey Lohan
Lindsay Lohan is back with new music! Yesterday, she released a new song on Instagram titled “Xanax.” Alongside the clip she wrote “This video is a compilation of vignettes of life. Family, love, the process of moving forward and letting go of the past. To live and be happy, free of fear. Just to be grateful and open our eyes to our opportunities instead of numbing the mind.” The song is the first one Lindsay’s released since 2008’s “Bossy.”
