Today marks the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Flight 93. On that day, nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives. That includes 343 firefighters and 71 law enforcement officers who gave their lives trying to help others. Today we remember that sacrifice they made.

The company introduced three new editions of the iPhone; the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, yesterday. The new phones will start at $699, $999 and $1,099 and be available beginning Sept. 20.
Slowfie
Yesterday, during the iPhone 11 press conference, CEO Tim Cook revealed the iPhone 11’s front facing camera will have slow-mo mode and tried to coin the term “Slofie.” The internet roasted the term almost immediately.
Antonio Brown
A Florida woman alleges in a new federal lawsuit filed yesterday that the now-New England Patriots wide receiver sexually assaulted and raped her in 2017 and 2018. Brown’s lawyer has issued a statement saying his client had a “consensual personal relationship” with the woman but the allegations are false.
Hella Mega Stadium Tour
Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy announced yesterday they are joining forces for the Hella Mega stadium tour, which will kick off on June 13, 2020, in Paris, France, before heading to North America the following month. All three bands have also released new songs to promote their tour.
Palindrome Week
Up until next Thurday, the date will be the same written backwards as it is forward. Experts say it’s the last ‘palindrome week’ of the century.

The NBA legend announced yesterday that he will donate $1 million to assist with the relief efforts in the Bahamas in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.
Wild Monkey
Police say a primate, believed tobe a chimpanzee, has been spotted on-the-loose in Santa Fe, Texas and a primate team is helping them in the search. They’re asking people to not go look for the monkey or try to capture it. One woman posted on Facebook the monkey tried to attack her yesterday morning. Police say the chimp has also harassed dogs and tried to take cats.
