The four people who died in a car accident last night in Daviess County have been identified. The Sheriff’s Office say 26-year-old Matthew Grimes and 24-year-old Jessica Krohn, both of Evansville, died in the accident as well as 5-year-old Maddalynn Grimes of South Carolina and 7-year-old Isabella Pfingston of Boonville.
Deputies say it happened last night around 6:30 at the intersection of Highway 58 and County Road 425 East when Grimes’ car reportedly failed to yield the right of way. The investigation is ongoing; however, officials don’t believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
