An Evansville man whose body was recovered from the river bottoms last month died of hypothermia, due to accidental environmental exposure.
That’s the ruling of the Vanderburgh County Coroner. He says Steven Flowers was in a situation he hadn’t planned for.
His truck was found in the mud, south of I-69 between Green River Road and South Weinbach Avenue.
The coroner says Flowers had a physical disability, which made walking more difficult. He finally succumbed to the elements.
