Hallmark
and “Fuller House” have both decided to
cut ties
with
Lori Loughlin
in the wake of the
college admission scheme. To recap, both her and her husband, were
indicted for allegedly paying $500-thousand to get their 2 daughters into USC. One
of Lori’s daughters, Olivia Jade, even lost her
Sephora partnership amid the backlash. It’s also being reported this morning
that both daughters have decided to withdraw from school for fear of
being “viciously bullied,” but it’s okay because neither wanted to go to school
to begin with.
Jussie Smollett
Jussie Smollett has pleaded not guilty to 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct
and is continuing to deny allegations that he faked a hate crime against
himself. Smollett’s legal team entered the plea yesterday at a courthouse in
Chicago, while he remained silent. He’s due back in court on April 17.
Netflix
Netflix
canceled its Latin-themed
“One Day at a
Time”
reboot yesterday after three seasons. They said
they tried to extend the show’s life, but, quote, “in the end simply not
enough people watched to justify another season.” Sony plans
to shop the show around and hopefully get it picked up elsewhere. Many fans, including Lin
Manuel Miranda, have taken to Twitter to plead with other networks and
streaming services.
